Griffen Collins is a Boston based musician who has been performing around the North Shore since he was fifteen years old. Now a Tufts University senior and double major in music and cognitive brain science, he is a member of the Tanglewood Festival Chorus at the Boston Symphony Orchestra, the North Shore band Crustacean, Tufts band Call From Earth, and the music director of the well-known acapella group the Tufts Beelzebubs.
Griffen's acoustic covers range from the classic rock of Eric Clapton and the Stones to the more contemporay works of Bon Iver and John Mayer. Whether covering the bluesy sounds of Stevie Ray Vaughn or the folksy Americana of Lyle Lovett, Griffen never fails to surprise his audiences with his own soulful spins of the true classics.
